Leadership Training

We know that the acronym for TEAM is together everyone achieves more, but what does that look like?

Well I flew out to Texas a few weekends ago and while on the plane I had a thought about the speed of my business and how it applies to planes & a team. I'm not sure why but I was just open to inspiration at the time :-)

If you wanted to get from one side of the country to the other would you rather do it in a Jet Plane or a Prop Plane? An example of a prop plane if you're not familiar, would be the old WWI dog fighting Bi-Planes made of wood and cloth or any plane today with a propeller.

Well the obvious answer would be Jet Plane right?

Then why do so many people insist on using a prop plane to get to their dreams? What do I mean?

Let me explain.

Prop Plane= Poor Respect Of People, People Leave And Never Enter

When building your network marketing team you must respect people where they are at. Part timers don't always do the right things. They don't always show up to events and they simply a lot of times don't know what they don't know. They want to use their old skills on a new business.

They are distracted many times and you must be a master of distraction in the beginning when their enthusiasm is high. You aren't their boss and you shouldn't act like one. Their 1st few months in the business can be a roller coaster.

When you don't respect where they are at, or love them where they are, they will leave and worse, they will tell their friends, "it doesn't work."

This is a very very slow trip in a very unstable vehicle.

Jet Plane= Join Everyone Together, Proper Leverage Always Needs Everyone

The Jet Plane principle is simple. By developing your leadership skills through study and practice you want to bring everyone together on your team. One good study would be a great book like The 17 Indisputable Laws of Team Work by John C. Maxwell.

Time and money leverage are necessary to obtain wealth and if you aren't leveraging systems and/or people you won't get this accomplished. The only way to do this properly is through personal development and the study of successful team builders while going through the process with the team.

In network marketing there is a place for everyone and they should always feel their is a need for them and that there is a place for them in the business. Network marketing is a business of a lot of people doing a little bit so they should always feel special no matter how little production you may feel they do.

This isn't rocket science but I also know that every time you see a jet plane you'll think of your team and how valuable everyone is in it and by valuing your team members and loving them where they are at you'll get to your destination a lot quicker than if you don't.
